Veganism is a protected philosophical belief

Are plant milks ok though? The whole almond industry is a massive greenwashing environmental sham, for example…

It depends why you are following a plant based diet. For me it’s mostly about about animal ethics. So almond milk trumps cow milk every time.

Almond milk is definitely a no-no. Oat only for me (because I eat copious amounts of porridge anyway) but to be honest I haven't given up milk or cheese. The impact on your health from eating super processed food (lets fact it, vegan cheese is largely nothing but) means it really isn't worth the substitution. I'd just rather eat less of the real stuff.

And yes, oat milk is my preference too generally. But then I LOVE an oat.

I hope I'm not committing ecocide every time I wash down a delicious cherry bakewell with a double shot of amaretto.

It’s a national holiday tomorrow so I have a day off, yippee!!

Except I just realised I actually made a plan which involves being outside a lot so FUCK

First a protected philosophical belief, now a national holiday in Japan. When will it end???
