Jessie Ware - What's Your Pleasure? First Day Sync Listen 8pm TONIGHT!

Save A Kiss feels a bit more like some of the stuff she's released previously, NO BAD THING, those vocals

09 Ooh La La

Reminds me a bit of Roisin Murphy.

I don't know if it's corona or whatever, but I haven't had this much PUSSY POPPING in years :disco:

The way that melodic chorus drops out into the TITS IN THE AIR instrumental and then

SAVE IT. SAVE IT. SAVE IT.
Lock it up and KEEP IT WITH YOU BABY

And then the spliced up "rewind" BVs :disco:

The strings used across this album are uniformly great by the way. And they all have a very similar sound - Dua's team also talked about using the same strings from song to song on Future Nostalgia to give it cohesion. It works stunningly well

Adore You is on the album! Hooray, I thought it might have fallen through the cracks like Overtime. This is a 29499/10 of course.

What a DAY to release an album of SULTRY DISCO GEMS! It suits the sweltering weather perfectly!

I was just thinking how rude of the weather to come over cloudy just now for Jessie's first listen.

Just repeating what already said wonderful warm vocals, the STRINGS. I'm a sucker for a string

Is there a limited coloured vinyl with signed print card + limited glitter cassette and stickers or something for this release? TAKE MY MONEY JESSIE WARE.

It also took me a minute with Adore You coming after Overtime as it did but honestly what a SONG OF LIFE. Those melancholy synths are everything and more.

This could almost be the template for a different kind of record. But it works great here to switch up the mood a bit.

I'll need to see everybody stanning In Your Eyes.

The slow burn build of this song is kind of genius. Jessie called it her "Bond theme". I'd say it's more like the best song on a soundtrack for the movie adaptation of a super sexy book about an illicit affair between a young man and an older woman. It's very romantic but there's a hint of danger bubbling under the surface.

I love it VERY MUCH

In Your Eyes is a glittering Kylie ballad if I ever heard one

Can I upgrade In Your Eyes once I've given some unsuspecting gay a dirty dance to it? :disco:

This makes me want to have sex in a dirty nightclub regardless of any potential chewing gum.

The first line of Step Into My Life being "look into my eyes". Her mind.

I guess there is something vaguely Bondish about In Your Eyes, but it could pretty much soundtrack anything on a yacht. Super slinky, and the vocal flavours she is showing across the album.

The big disco fill at the end of "now's the time to step into my life" :disco: the sexy strings :disco:

It's really something that she made this hook up album sound so convincing despite being happily married with thirty five kids.
