Definitely the right decision. Season 1 is low on the drama, but it's a necessary introduction to five all-time-great Housewives who showboat at their best and worst for what's only about eight or nine episodes anyway.

And then in season 2, episode 1 the drama starts and doesn't stop from then on in.

I don't know why I do this to myself every year only to be disappointed, but I'm so looking forward to the new series of BH.

There are new headlines about Tom and Erika almost every day now. It can't not be a major focal point of the new season. :disco:

Erika being ordered by court to stop selling her second-hand clothes on that poshmark equivalent. All of their assets being frozen. Under everything she posts on Instagram are hoards of people baying for blood and calling her a criminal.

SCRAP whatever rubbish they've already filmed and start the season off right here.
 
I know the most likely scenario is that they’ll probably protect her but a small part of me is hopeful that Erika will get a taste of her own medicine this year. :disco:
 
I am GAGGED that one of the Kim’s (probably G) wasn’t promoted to main cast in season 2, especially after iconic queen and noted forum favourite DINA MANZO left.

As a side note - what do Jersey Housewives HOLD? I can’t think AT ALL. New York has an apple, Atlanta a peach - what do Jersey have, GUNS?

Refreshing to see them acknowledging they are on a "show" and breaking the fourth wall instead of it being the unspeakable thing outside of the reunion they tippy toe around.

For example, a lot of Teresa and Melissa's arguments in the earlier seasons could have been solved if Teresa could just say "the producers ambushed me to film with Kim/villain from your past"
 
I always thought that Cynthia’s worst scenes were during her marriage to Peter but this season is making me like her a lot less.

Ugh, I know. It used to rile me so much during those seasons when Melissa and Joe would be like: "why do you hate us so much?". Knowing full well that Teresa couldn't respond with: "because you campaigned to get on this show with the promise to take me down."

You're right, it would have moved things along a LOT quicker.

I'm sure this is of limited interest, but I'm low-key enjoying RHO JERSEY :D

- Tessa is such an incredible HATE WATCH. The most insufferable, overbearing woman I've seen on Housewives since ANDREA MOSS! I'm sure she must have initially pitched the show to ITV as some sort of British Kardashians focused on her AWFUL FAMILY before it was re-tooled into a Housewives show. She gets about 50% more screen-time than the other women :D
- Kate is obviously the highlight, but I wish she was channelling a bit more GINA LIANO, I like the Aussie one too - the argument about shagging in a graveyard is ridiculous :D
- Ashley is AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL, and clearly going to be pushed to the front if this mess makes it to season 2. There are SO MANY girls in the UK just like her.
- Margaret is wonderfully bizarre. Her laboured way of speaking, and that scene where she sang Happy Birthday in dog language that seemed to go on for an ETERNITY!
- I'd ditch Jane and initial fave Hedi if it gets another season and bring in a friend for the Australian.
 
I was gonna say Tessa is giving me Andrea Moss vibes! What a COW! I can only hope she gets the same audience response (if anyone is still watching).

I like Kate but she needs to wind in her desire to get up Tessa’s arse. I know it’s for her son but it’s so frustrating to watch!

Dial down the Jen Shaw content, ramp up the Mary Cosby madness - though based on the next episode, it's not looking like that's gonna happen soon. :eyes:

I genuinely wonder if Jen is portraying herself that way because she think it'll make her a housewives icon or if a lot of it is being fed to her by production.
