Thanks @dmlaw .. I could easily give points to at least half of these. Had my doubts about the theme but I thoroughly enjoyed it (will got back to the 6 blocked videos once I turn the VPN on)

I like the Gabriella Cilmi song but she has a lot I like more
I've never heard this Real McCoy song but I love it instantly. I can't wait to listen to it on repeat on a run
I know I've listened to every Alisha's Attic single but I couldn't remember this one. Its very pretty but not super memorable. I Am I Feel is better
 
STYX?? :D I see it only got to 90 in the UK, which is weird, because it sounds like something that would be bigger in Europe than the US to me. Its massive here though. I hear it all the time. I like it, but I would say Come Sail Away is their best.

I liked the Khaled song also. I've heard of him but never heard this one.

This round is going to be so hard to vote in.
 
This Saint Etienne song is pretty, and I've liked everything I've heard from them, but its fairly subtle so I think I'll need a few more listens to remember it.

Speaking of subtle, DESÁTAME :disco: The vocals are a bit terrible, but that music hits the spot.

I don't know if I'm going to forget Forbidden Colours entirely or listen to it 100 times in the next week.
 
The Delta song is catchy but kind of generic sounding.

I love this Bis song :disco: I love this kind of 90s pop/indie/dance thing

I mean, you’re wrong about Missy Higgins but correct about owning your dislike. I have a policy of being intractable and hostile about Eurovision songs I don’t like and it makes the whole thing much more fun.
 
I had a sneaky peek at the list. Billie Piper lolz. Definitely the Holly Valance of the competition so far. There are a few more I know, some I'll probably know once I hear them, and some I recognise from topic titles on here that I have studiously avoided opening.
 
Of the songs that were new to me, only three stands out and will be getting some nice points.

Monica Orange's warbling is actively unpleasant but my arbitrary method of marking both on song AND visual makes her a SHOE-IN for some points for this Grecian cockdestroyer fantasy.
