I keep thinking Wimpy is dead but it isn't, it's just NOT AROUND HERE any longer :(

Due to being the most significant city in the south east, we still have a WIMPY.

I believe they still do BENDER BURGERS, table service and all served on a plate with a GRIMMACE.

James Martin has FORM for this sort of thing, too:
Edit: actually, James Martin Kitchen at Glasgow Airport and their teeny tiny burgers DEAD because it had been turned into something else when I was there the other week :o

I have never heard of Berni!

Slightly OT but are all UK cities/Towns seeing WENDY'S pop up everywhere? I remember them vaguely in the early 90's and its quite nice to see them back. I have frequented a few times over the last month, I like their jacket potato sides and their array of salads!

I used to love a Wimpy, I don't know how they are still going but they are...there are a few left that I know of, but not many, I can only think they are all franchises now?

We had a rival to Wal-Mart back in the '90s called ZELLERS. Pickings were GRIM but they had a restaurant inside each store and they clearly put all their budget into their poutine. :disco:
