Smoke gives me chills. That and Try by Nelly Furtado both have the same effect on me.

Pigeons and the Crumbs is up there with Smoke for me too, bloody love that one

I think my rank from 2007 onwards is:

1. Want
2. Instant Crush
3. Nothing Missing*
4. Maybe It's Great
5. Build Back Better

*If this is the new single
Same top three and would swap the other two

I love That Day but honestly WHAT
POSSESSED HER to release that as the lead single when Wrong Impression was on there to be a radio smash? I know it was Autumn but FUCK!

It really was a first single or nothing though...I mean it got people talking

yes, I love That Day but Wrong Impression should’ve been first, not that I prefer it over That Day but was more familiar sounding and probably would have had more people on board for the album, it went top 10 when it did get released. I think That Day probably put a lot off people hearing an album they’d probably have liked.

Anyone the three essential Imbruglia singles for me are:

Beauty On The Fire
Smoke
That Day

I mean STATEMENT sure, but the lead single from the second album when there was everything to play for… I love it but the album and subsequent career probably never recovered from that point in the UK.

I get releasing Thank U from SFIJ and a rare commercialish moment from a poisonously uncommercial album, but this was the other way round, why commit airplay hari-kiri when you have smashes on there just before Christmas

Torn as a great track and I appreciate it but its never been one of my faves of Queen Imb. I instantly liked Big Mistake and Smoke more. and since then theres been other faves too.
