It's really annoying because if they wanted to close schools they should have done it over this half term break. Lots of schools had a two week break, it would have been so much less disruptive for them.

I'm so torn. For the benefit of the kids (and me!) I want to be in work and school to be open. But without schools closing I can't see these numbers coming down quickly. Last time it took 4 months even with schools closed.
