We do seem to have got some of the wrong answers here. In particular, against this competition, 'I Love Belarus' is basically a comedy qualifier.

Our next qualifier is...

1973 Mocedades - Eres tú - Spain
I was trying not to comment until AFTER I'd read all the results, but I had a rant planned for this failing to qualify, in which I'd call you all millennial cunts who wouldn't know music if it suffered a facial disfigurement and represented Spain in 1973.

Pleased to say I can keep that sentiment to myself as you've all made the correct choice.

Absolutely ludicrous that Hallelujah didn’t make the cut.

strong agree - I have to say that a song and performance like this not even qualifying at this stage, where Aphrodisiac from 2012 does :DAF:, makes this very hard to swallow.

I can accept my personal faves not getting through but come ON

Hello I am an ombudsman I have borrowed the log in details of a sexy gentleman. I am investigating vote tampering in a gay interest online popularity contest for Eurovision songs and I am discusted at what I have seen. Please to be aware the following songs actually did qualify with over 600 points each and those responsible for this result will get a fine of £50 and also many years in prison.

1979 Milk & Honey - Hallelujah - Israel - 9 points
2010 Juliana Pasha - It's All About You - Albania - 7 points
1992 Mia Martini - Rapsodia - Italy - 5 points
2008 Laka - Pokusaj - Bosnia & Herzegovina - 5 points
2016 Samra - Miracle - Azerbaijan - 5 points

Omg he did, but when he typed 1999 Surpriz - Reise Nach Jerusalem - Germany he accidentally typed “2010 Juliana Pasha - It's All About You - Albania” ??
Oh shit, really? I've just found a scrap of headed paper that says he's from the ombudsman guild which further proves this story, and it says 'Germany 1999 I'm sorry zero points'. I think you've been fed dud information by one of those rogue ombudsmen you get knocking around sometimes.

I feel I must own up to a few things in case I kill myself.

I voted for the Belarus thing. I admit, I thought little beyond "that was fun and memorable" and did not apply any current thinking (or any thinking) beyond that. I apologise on behalf of the at least 9 other voters and would like to propose we remove the song and replace it with the truly excellent "Forever" by Alekseev. This seems like a fair outcome and would allow Belarus to be represented by its best ever entry. In studio form alone.

I would like to object to this.

I voted for I Love Belarus and I am proud that I did so.

Guys, has an ombudsman posted anything on here while I was at the toilet? He knocked on and asked if he could borrow my log-in details for some reason.
He had a name badge and a clipboard so he was definitely genuine, I just don't know what he was after.
Shit does anyone know where I can get a shredder delivered within the hour?

I also didn't vote for Spain 1973 either. I'm really sorry, I just didn't like it much.

I did vote for Spain 84, mind

Right I've just had a nice conversation with the helpful ombudsman (who doesn't smell nearly as much as BT had led me to believe) and he has independently verified that I Love Belarus's qualification was valid, Aphrodisiac BANGS, and if people want a scapegoat then maybe they should look at the tuneless Bulgarian wailing that somehow made it through.

Anyway he's just popped out to get onto his Swedish colleagues after an anonymous tipoff about a mis-selling scandal by a fancy dancer passing themselves off as a singer.
