Well what was there to say about it apart from WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT! Most of the poor souls who subjected themselves to it could barely scrape together a whole sentence!

One thing I found quite interesting is that despite the sneering tone of some of the show and the obviously atrocious quality of most of the songs, there was still SOME sort of effort being made in terms of production and visibility - decent/famous guest judges (plus Natalie Cassidy), the regional cutaways, just being on BBC1 in general rather than shunted off to BBC CHOICE or whatever. I really don't see why they can't still do something along these lines, even from the perspective of filling a couple of hours of the Saturday night schedule for relatively cheaply.
