Shame she didn’t talk much about the fashion

Funny. Vogue, and the entire fashion industry as a whole, have always steered clear of Mariah for decades because she was always too tacky for them. I'm pretty sure they even hated her because she had the success, the designer friends and the fame, but they actively excluded her from their 'crowd'. She was never photographed at fashion shows or invited to the industry's big events (like NYFW or the MET Gala). Instead they went for poxy old JLo because she had the 'polish'.

But now Mariah is a cross-generational icon, the tables have turned. They HAVE to feature her now. She's just too fucking big

She really did win in the end. She doesn't just have the best music for me, she has the best STORY
