I’m shocked you didn’t even discover it in lockdowns? Or did you not go on incessant dull walks then ?!I've been living on the same riverside estate for over twenty years now and have just discovered a path along the river I never knew existed before

Oh just it always surprises me when people haven‘t closely analysed every square inch on google maps for hidden cut throughsI still went out to work every day, so didn't need the endless walks or daily exercise.
Where I live is essentially a huge cul de sac which I live near the end of - and this path starts the other way, towards the dead end. I have seen the other end of the path many times, but I just didn't realise you could walk all the way along it, which is just short of 1km I'd guess.
I've walked the river path the other side many times, but that takes about 20 minutes to walk to. This is literally two minutes from my front door.
It doesn't show on Google maps, and isn't a cut through - it's out of my way rather than on the way anywhere. It isn't a path really, just a river bank - unlike the one you can see in the photo on the other side of the river which you can walk or cycle all the way to Bath on. Which I've done in its entirety once, although about three times more we've done it, got as far as a nice pub halfway, had something to eat and drink, and decided to go home insteadOh just it always surprises me when people haven‘t closely analysed every square inch on google maps for hidden cut throughs
And I walk along part of the other side most weeks when the weather is nice, as it's a more picturesque and only slightly longer way to my mother's flat. Don't think I've ever seen anyone walking along this 'new' part. I'd always assumed it was inaccessible. But it isn't at all - just not well marked.Yes I'm surprised at that for you @lolly
Is it the half of the job Lucille is too old for?So guys I got a new job today
What is it?So guys I got a new job today
Is it CATALOGUE MODELLING?Erm..
@Soldi I think the BUM SLIGHTLY IN THE AIR one second from right is a BIT EXPLICIT
"Fashionable 19 in. parallel legs"!They're bringing back KAY'S and look at our @Skoldi
@Skoldi
I must say that whenever I think @lolly, I think JACQUARDWE'VE ALL DONE IT
And he's always been a TALL MISSI must say that whenever I think @lolly, I think JACQUARD
You have to wonder what's going on in that picture on the bottom right. I think the ladies might be about to whip off their double-knits and get down to some much-needed BOOB ON BOOBWE'VE ALL DONE IT
Quite the money spinner. £2.50, a bit of FORCED ORAL and the leftovers of the custard in some Tupperware to take home for teaI always harboured a desire to model wetsuits for the perverts who used to buy SPLOSH magazine
Imagine the £££ just for getting dressed up and rolling around in some custard
Just thinking about the part of the interview earlier where the interviewer explained she was splitting an existing role into two, and when I asked what the other half of the role I wouldn’t be doing involved she explained, ‘I envisage someone much YOUNGER taking on this part of the job’.
@Lucille What IS the other part of the job?
And how old was SHE?
CHARMING! I assume she wants some nodding dog tithead she can cart around to make her feel better about herself. Did you make the fatal mistake of expressing will and opinions? She was MY AGE! The other part of the job was a junior role which mostly involved travelling with her to PARIS, NEW YORK, and LA, whilst I’d be trusted to work REMOTELY.
