It's very much one of my earliest musical memories. My mum (I'm pretty sure most people's mums) owned the vinyl and listening to it on our MUSIC CENTRE was very much a bonding experience for me, my mum and cousin Jayne who lived a few doors up the road.Grease was an absolute STAPLE for me growing up. I think I could still recite the whole movie. She was an absolute ICON.
THIS is the ultimate Livvy moment for me. In a career full of them…
Not ridiculous in the slightest. It's a massively significant relationship.I'm crying. She was my first pop icon. I was six years old when I fell head over heels in love with her and her songs (thanks to my parents). She's been part of my life ever since. I know that looks ridiculous written down like that, but I don't know what else to say.
I really don't think it can be overstated how much of a MASTERWORK Xanadu is (song AND movie).
