Oh it's a poor list, true enough. But I think ITV needs to field something stronger against it to see it off.
Is the X Factor All Stars a series or a one off show? If it's the latter, I think it could do rather well.
Turns out the SCD wikipedia page has it well coveredYES PLEASE!
There can’t be a single TV series (including soaps) whose average viewing figure over the last decade has shifted less than a million. And never consistently in either direction.
I think SCD is probably at the same point X Factor was at the end of the ‘00s where the audience was pretty much GUARANTEED but a good year would create a spike in the viewing figures.
I certainly wouldn’t write it off now. It’s only really at the end of the series you can decide whether it’s been a decent year. Joe Sugg and Stacey Dooley wouldn’t necessarily have stood out last year as potential favourites but it didn’t end up being a noticeably WEAK year.
Despite the fact that we had EXACTLY the same conversation about the line-up
If you ignore the launch series (fair enough I think, given it was broadcast in May-July and all the others are Q4), its average audience has increased 17% since 2004. In the same period, EastEnders has lost 48%.There can’t be a single TV series (including soaps) whose average viewing figure over the last decade has shifted less than a million. And if you take it from series 8 (SCD's peak average), SCD has dropped 5.7%, EastEnders 26.2%.If you ignore the launch series (fair enough I think, given it was broadcast in May-July and all the others are Q4), its average audience has increased 17% since 2004. Am I right in saying that they don’t usually touch CBB contestants? Michelle Visage has bucked the trend on that one.
I can think of Lee Ryan and Vanessa Feltz (and Alison Hammond), not sure if there have been others. They will have I'm a Celebrity people but not if they have done it too recently.

So, although not confirmed, we’d advise getting your rhinestones ready for a 7th September start.
That's for the launch show, featuring a Kylie medley and Mark Ronson with YEBBA.
Some hot new STRICTLY CURSE material just in time for the new series:

Have we had demotions before?
I guess closer to the start date it's a little more likely these rumours are true.
