She went on some podcast recently and she claimed since that she's had to work multiple jobs since she put her singing career on the backburner after the pandemic
Emphasis on her saying SHE put it there and not because she's been denied her re-invitation to MelFest.

Our poor graceful swan claims she had to sell some of her clothes (GASP!) and worked at a store for a few days (DOUBLE GASP!) and was working at a a friend's restuarant (THE SHOCK).
This part in particular is fascinating:
"The reactions from the guests have been positive, and several have asked if it is Anna herself who has opened the restaurant."
The implication of her mere presence made the restuarant THE BIG SUCCESS and not the hard work of the owners, chefs and other staff

It's unclear whether she's going to make it. A tabloid article published yesterday reported that she has had surgery after a skiing accident.
"It was uncertain whether Anna Book would survive, and her beloved husband Roberto Toledano, 55, kept vigil by his wife's side after her abdomen had ruptured."

Checking the domestic gossip thread on Anna Book, now 74,460 posts long. It appears that she is attributing the necessary surgery to a skiing accident in her 20s.
She's getting a new knee, but should be good to go in time for Mello.
