Relisten #1: 'Kylie' and 'Enjoy Yourself' - 16/10/20 19:00

HAND ON YOUR HEART IS A STONE COLD CLASSIC and I will fight to the DEATH with anyone who disagrees.

She really did have INCREDIBLY strong singles, didn't she? Particularly the lead singles.

I'm actually not familiar with this album apart from the singles! I never had it at the time, and didn't revisit it as an adult :o

I think it would be in my Kylie top 20. She looks so fucking angry in the video though! :D

Hand on my Heart was one my favourite Abbey Road Sessions interpretations I'll give it THAT!

And now

2. WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING

I might be so bold and suggest this is my favourite Kylie 80s single.

It was so good on Golden Live. Totally works in a modern set list.

Actually I forget, the FIRST THREE SONGS ON THIS ARE ABSOLUTE CORKERS: Never Too Late SLAPS (politely)

I'm not getting the videos since I restarted the playlist :( I think it's playing them with the YouTube Music thing...

3. NEVER TOO LATE

Kylie's favourite closer for a while she started sticking this at the end of various compilations released over the years. I can see why.

Tell Tale Signs is.. passable. Tbh as a 12 year old I started to get a little bored by this point.

My Secret Heart was so OBVIOUSLY “inspired” by LAP’s Dear Jessie. It was transparent to me EVEN THEN.
