Daily Maíl pushed Hancock on dates for under 50s, pointing out that it looks like they will have to wait an extra month seemingly to wait for reluctant twats.

Hancock banged on about over 50s getting their vaccines.

Eventually Hancock would only repeat a commitment to vaccinate all adults by end of July.
 
Felt fairly inevitable. There's a big spike of second jabs coming due, and to maintain first jabs they'd need to massively increase supply. Which they were facing a mountain to get towards.
 
My NOT-HUSBAND is in the 40-49 gap with NO UNDERLYING HEALTH ISSUES and he has been offered his jab today for Friday, so it may be happening to an extent.

It’s really weird. I spoke to a friend at work who is just 40 and loads of her friends have had their first jab too. My 41 year old friend has no underlying conditions too and had his jab just because he was on a hospital outpatient list after breaking his leg in 2020.

Shame about the under 50s jab. Until yesterday I thought at 38 I'd maybe be looking to have someone stick it in me for my birthday

Still, can have a beer in the rain the day after the pubs open so there's that

Manager at work is jabbed which is good as they're looking to get me back in I think, and he is always taking his grandson to school.

I mean, i won't argue that they're a bunch of fucking morons who really make me despair at the human race/UK population, but I'm only about 30% confident of that happening right now.
 
Why are people in the UK protesting? Mass vaccinations and a clear roadmap out. In France, they are still fucking around with semi-measures which have no effect other than to (kind of) limit people's freedoms further rather than the spread of the virus.
 
I lost my swab virginity this weekend. A friend had his birthday party and asked people to get tested. My thoughts as the swab reached inside me and almost touched MY SOUL:

  1. Why is there a... ROOM?... there?!
  2. NOTHING is supposed to go there (unless it's coke)
  3. OH NOW SHE'S MOVING THE THING INSIDE ME!
  4. They said it won't be painful WELL THIS FUCKING HURTS
  5. GET OUT!!
  6. Tears :(
 
I was pretty bad doing it myself, but getting it done forcibly by a nurse in hospital is 20 times worse.
