That's alright. Obviously, I will be interpreting it as a deliberate insult, but if you're okay with having that on your conscience then go right ahead.

Just do a search for the song title on here. As long as there are only a couple of pages of mentions, you're good. I know full well we'll all have spent ages trying to go obscure only for the first comments on each song in the viewing gala to be 'omg I bought this on single' and 'I still listen to this NOW'.

There has been a real range of entries. We've got reasonably obscure number one singles, right down to songs which spent one week at number 40. As long as you don't submit something like 'Bad Romance' or 'Dancing Queen', it's had to get the 'forgotten' part too wrong.

True true! I’ll get me thinking cap on today .. I went through my iTunes most played and the amount of them that didn’t reach the top 40 was staggering. And then then one that I liked enough to use did, of course it doesn’t have a radio/video edit on Spotify and I’m not sure how a 10 minute opus would go down on Spotify 😃

Well as the biggest advocate of the theme, I have very much struggled with this one the most :D

Toying between two songs. Think I'm gonna bomb HARD with either
 
The thing I'm finding tough about this round is that it's very easy to find "forgotten top 40" gems if we're talking in general, but from a moopy perspective, most of the songs I'd want to pick are known or actually beloved by moopy to some degree. I feel I've got reasonably diverse taste but not especially OBSCURE.

I have a ton of possibilities but each one I think will get marked down because it has fans + more than a few mentions on moopy.

But then I also think I should stop overthinking it and enter what the fuck I want.
 
I feel this season's ASFM will be giving levels of OUTRAGE and CRITIQUING CHAOS to outdo them all however

This was my struggle too, but then just I thought fuck it and submitted something I re-discovered myself.

I normally bias my scores to unknown songs over well known but this is the round I won’t be (as long as it isn’t a real obvious song or a continuous radio staple).
