He's a likely shout.I have a funny feeling in my water that Dominic Raab is going to be the next U.K. Prime-minister. At this point they may as well replace the current PM with Harry Styles.
Right they've got ONE MONTH. GO!
Exactly. They couldn't get a job shovelling shit.Clinging on as they'll be unlikely to get another ministerial role again.

Agreed. There are shades of 1997 in my view - albeit a far more parlous economic position today. Holed below the waterline and they will go right to the end. Perhaps the only thing to cling to is an opposition that hasn’t sealed the deal in the way Blair did (but fortunately for Labour right now, it doesn’t really need to).Separately, there probably won't be a general election any time soon, if the Tories have any sense anyway. The economy might really suddenly turn around, but it's more likely they're going to end up white knuckling it to the end of 2024 for things to ease off on that front as much as possible. The energy price cap's due to go up again in October for one. 2023 isn't going to be pretty.
I was (disturbingly) thinking more of Major and 1992!Agreed. There are shades of 1997 in my view - albeit a far more parlous economic position today.
