Ooh a nomination for Tick Tick Boom. There is still hope for Andrew.

Was that the first Gucci nom? Did it get costume as well?

Diane got her nomination

Flee got Documentary, Animated and International :disco:

Leslie is running on fumes. Let him go.

Wait, Nicole IS in!

Jessica Chastain
Olivia Colman
Penelope Cruz
Nicole Kidman
Kristen Stewart

Nicole will win. no Gaga is a real shocker after she won all the precursors.

Thanks to the Best Picture nod, Branagh is the first person to be nominated in seven categories.

Maybe they were all PUT OFF by the scent of DESPERATION she was BATHING HERSELF IN during the whole campaign.

I mean it's all fucking bought anyway, hardly a question of MERIT. She isn't SPECTACULAR in House of Gucci but she carries the whole film which is more than I thought she would ever do. And they did nominate her for A Star is Born, didn't they? So they don't particularly HATE her like they seem to HATE Madonna or other popstars-cum-actresses.

Stewart seemed unlikely to even get a nod a few days ago. Always good to see Penelope Cruz (even if it is an uneven film).

Beyoncé is an Oscar nominee now which is nice

Diane Warren on her 13th original song nomination

Just quietly I hated House of Gucci and (with the exception of a few campy moments) sitting through it was torture, but I still needed Gaga to get that nom
