I imagine they'd be frontrunners for the national selection if the song is good. Perhaps a bit soon, but On Fire and Discotheque were both great so...

Very here for them. There's no need for them to change anything up massively, they're unique and electric enough just as they are, love them :disco:

On Fire could have been top 3 in 2020 I reckon.

Tonight's qualifiers

Poor Andrius from 2013 seems like he's... going through some things.

The next semi of this is also on tonight:

  1. Anžela Adamovič-Gečienė – “Paskubėk”
  2. Sid Hallow – “Here We Go Again”
  3. MeidĖ – “Zoo”
  4. Pluie de Comètes – “Be careful”
  5. Sun Francisco – “Trauka”
  6. Mary Mo – “Done”
  7. Baltos varnos – “In the Night”
  8. Shower – “Impossible”

All 5 semis were pre-recorded and those who were there say that Monika Marija's entry (coming next week) is the biggest competition for Luktelk, apparently The Roop's song is underwhelming.

Mary Mo – “Done”
This one was co-written by Monika Marija as well, I think it could be a contender to make the Final. Assuming they ditched the CHRISTIAN BONNIE TYLER styling:

*Cue dead last in semi-final with less than 15 votes from the televote*

It's quite a sweet song in full, but almost certainly too low impact for Eurovision.

In other shows nobody watched tonight, The Roop absolutely smashed it tonight with the highest televote so far. Maybe they're not a total write-off.

Other qualifier:

Final next week.

Once I went to a Graham Norton book signing when I was 14 and when me and my friend asked to take a picture with him together he said ‘oh, DOUBLE FISTING are we?’

The Roop probably have another ESC participation in them, but this song doesn’t feel the one for it to be with. Luktelk all the way!

Luktelk actually feels distinctive and a little different for Lithuania, so it would be a real shame if The Roop got the nod again off the back of an established fanbase for something a clear cut below their previous two entries.
