Can't believe she was blessed with "The One" and then gave it THAT video treatment as fourth single without any fanfare. "In My Arms" should have been first and then "The One" rolled out around Christmastime. That middle eight is arguably her best moment.
 
I think at the end of X we should all play the Freemasons remix of The One

I WANT to like The One more than I do...the chorus is really good, I think everyone talks it up so much that I don't feel it quite lives up to the hype

I was gonna say, I don't detest it but I always feel bad that I'm really NOT FUSSED about it since it's a personal one for her.
 
No More Rain is cute and I appreciate the sentiment. Far more than the other (travesty of a) song in the same vein on the album.

It’s a nice song for the FANZ.
 
The One is heaven and that's it really. Sometimes I forget it's on here because of how ABSURD it seems, the way they chucked it out late in the day when it should have been representing the album front and centre. From start to finish the "X" campaign is like it was a MADE UP by an internet calculator, but worse

I really like No More Rain. It's not an out-and-out highlight but a very high quality album track, melodies that are pretty but not twee, production that sparkles gently... and on tour it really POPPED. An undisputed highlight even surrounded as it was by better songs.

All I See is just ok for me. I don't mind the chasing of that particular sound as such, the generic forgettable tune is what hurts it.

I think the worst thing about All I See is that the song itself, despite being TRITE, does have moments melodically that are fairly appealing (mostly the chorus). But the production is SO cloying, asinine, VAPID and DEVOID of any personality that the only reasonable reaction to it in the end is TOTAL REPULSION. Urgh!!!

At least we've been spared the MIMS version I guess? (who?!)
