Metro providing suburbanites with the opportunity to get to Harrods more quickly than they previously could, although you'd hope they won't be let inIs this a new metro line or suburban rail line?
Just had a look, and it’s all very RER A if you know what I meanMetro providing suburbanites with the opportunity to get to Harrods more quickly than they previously could, although you'd hope they won't be let in
Yes, and they go from 0 - 90mph in MILLISECONDS!I’m intrigued by these diagonal lifts though, are they like WONKA-VATORS?

Well I did mention the VOMITING (possibly in the Tuesday thread). Luckily our special friends () at TfL - that's Tubby Tadeusz and Stout Stuart - are on hand with a mop and bucketThey go upwards, downwards, slantwards, and UP AND OUT!!
They’ll have the do a deep cleanse to get the bowel leakage out of the carpet at THOSE velocities, very sad
Their style guide is blatantly WRONG! I did note that someone extremely naughty changed the upper case L in the thread titleThe l in ‘line’ is lowercase. It’s the Elizabeth line. TfL’s style guide is extremely odd.
Still can't picture what those two might look like, illustrative photos or even DRAWINGS welcomeWell I did mention the VOMITING (possibly in the Tuesday thread). Luckily our special friends () at TfL - that's Tubby Tadeusz and Stout Stuart - are on hand with a mop and bucket

Not if they demolish perfectly good buildings in the processWhich is a good thing for a big cities like London and Paris.
Life can't ALL be like SelfridgesNot if they demolish perfectly good buildings in the process
*bangs same drum for the next ten years*
Good luck with making THAT end of Oxford Street posher. It's SUPPOSED to be horrible!
It looks DREADFUL INDEEDTottenham Court Road looks HORRIBLE now. I'm all for new fancy buildings but they've been built (well, JAMMED) in a place where there is no space for them to breathe. It's all so SUFFOCATING and so OUT OF PLACE.
Also the fucking PLAYSTATION BUTTONS splashed all over the station walls as you go in were dated on DAY ONE after the unveiling. So UGLY.
I especially hate THIS
Maybe, for people who live outside the city. I wouldn’t know though, I never take the RERWhich is a good thing for a big cities like London and Paris.

Scary? We all know it was the RER B, and we all know you went somewhere around la Plaine Stade de France for some REBEU DICKOh she’s an elitist now!
RER A is one of the most successful (busiest) lines in the world and I will not hear any shading against it. (But yes when I lived in Paris I avoided the RER because I had a scary experience when I ended up in nowhere (somewhere in the outskirts of Saint Denis).

Just use the private Dean Street entrance built for the gays. That bit in-between the two exits where people are walking over a glass ceiling has been CORDONED OFF for MONTHS as cracks started to appear
It's all so FUCKING AMATEURISH.
