The ridiculousness of the empty seats camera shot at the end
I don't think this clip sounds amazing, a little clunky even, sorry don't shoot me. I'm sure it'll come together as one, rehearsal clips are often meaningless
I was wrong, Germany are first half. That’s the death slot sorted then.Germany also draw second half, if anyone cares.
I thought the same!
That Italian rehearsal is horrendous.
Now:I wonder how the big four’s odds will change after the draws/rehearsals.
Currently:
Italy 7.7
UK 16.2
Spain 18.7
France 105
(Germany )
You’ve COME ‘OME!
Just like IT will next weekYou’ve COME ‘OME!
Too late, he's gone againYou’ve COME ‘OME!
The Space Man rehearsal clip is now #1 on U.K. YouTube trending.
It doesn't seem to be making much impact anywhere on iTunes or Spotify which concerned me, but then I guess the hype from the rehearsal is still within the fandom who know the song already.
That's my question generally around Europe.Do many songs make a dent pre-Eurovision, though?
In fairness I'm working on the assumption that we'll come 6th - 10th. I hope and believe we can do better than that, but a result in the lower end of the top ten would still be a seismic success for us and I don't think we've reason to be anything other than ecstatic with it.To be fair whatever wins Eurovision doesn't necessarily equate to chart popularity, does it? Haven't the last two years been a bit of an exception? And again, after the event. Although I appreciate we're talking about British charts and we've never been in this position in the streaming era before. I don't know how Duncan, Netta etc did in their own countries pre-contest.
My issue is it's not quite a winning "song" to me, we're entirely reliant on every other factor which actually might be enough, but it's certainly dicey enough ground for it not to be shocking if we came 5th or whatever. Still an amazing result if so
