I read somewhere that it was an "all-queer cast".
Is he a real life GAY? (I’ve not seen or read anything of him otherwise...)
I found Ash terribly underwritten. I really would have liked to have known more.
Ash is just THE MOST BEAUTIFUL man.
I was floored by the end of it. all those beautiful people, all that tragedy. thinking about what the LGBTQ+ community went through at that time, the loss and the fear. it makes me want to hug everyone *sobs again*
to the Swedophiles among us I strongly recommend watching Don't Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves, it's an equally beautiful and gut punching AIDS drama

It's had to imagine a more emotionally impactful series coming out this year.
This character on the right stole the show for me. Seeing the mother confronted was satisfying. Especially the part where she didn’t understand how the Mother didn’t know her son was gay. Resonated with me a lot.
I don’t blame her, I was quite queasy about that scene myself. My mum would haemorrhage at the rimming scene.
She also binged the whole series in one morning. “They kept saying “now playing next episode” and I thought it might be my only chance so I just kept watching...”
